He was born in Colombia. The writer Gabriel García Márquez grew up listening histories and  he turned into a journalist. His fiction introduced readers to magical realism, which combines more conventional wich combines normal life situaciones with fantasy. Gabriel García Marquez never haved to use a determined style for his writing. He sed a writing style should change with every book as every story is diferent, with a different because every history is differrent. However ‘reality’ is most important theme in all his novels where is portray the reality of the colombian life.  His novels more known Cien años de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude) and El amor en los tiempos del cólera (Love in the Time of Cholera), and in 1982 he won a Nobel Prize .  García Márquez died on April 17, 2014.

He wrote for fiction and shorter scripts, García Márquez stayed at his house in Mexico City for a while to complete his novel One Hundred Years of Solitude. Published in 1967.  The author was internationally admired for his work. He sold tens of millions of copies in the world. García Márquez is credited with the normal life situations and fantasy introducing a readers in a style that combines storytelling forms with vivid. One curiosity is that he needed a yellow flower on his desk to work. Because he was very superstitious and thought that snails, peacocks and plastic flowers give bad luck. He declared himself a fan of the pop singer Shakira. Therefore, the singer participated in the soundtrack of the film adaptation of "Love in the times of cholera." García Márquez wrote more novels during his life. With additional titles including: El amor en los tiempos del cólera  (1985), or  Love in the Time of Cholera ,  ...
